Baker & McKenzie Mexico hires life sciences head

Baker & McKenzie has hired Christian Alejandro López-Silva as head of its pharmaceutical and life sciences group in Mexico.

López-Silva joins from Tsuru Morales Isla Abogados, where he specialised in pharmaceutical products, medical devices, food and beverage, cosmetics, hygiene products, chemicals and pesticides.

“Christian’s addition to our team is the result of our commitment to providing services of the highest value to address the needs of our clients in Mexico's key industries,” said Andrés Ochoa-Bünsow, national managing partner at Baker & McKenzie Mexico.

López-Silva has worked in the life sciences and biotechnology fields for more than 14 years, and has been employed in both the private and public sectors.
