Burns & Levinson hires counsel in Boston

US-based law firm Burns & Levinson has hired Shawn Foley as of counsel in the firm’s intellectual property practice in Boston.

Foley joins from US law firm Lerner David Littenberg Krumholz & Mentlik.

He has experience in patent procurement and has represented clients in the pharmaceutical industry.

The move comes as part of two promotions at the firm.

David Rosenblatt, managing partner at the firm, said: “Shawn’s patent experience will bolster our flourishing IP group.”
