Fieldfisher boosts IP expertise with three appointments

European law firm Fieldfisher has strengthened  its intellectual property expertise with the appointment of three team members in Milan, Italy.

The team is led by Diego Rigatti, who was the former head of life sciences at Osborne Clarke.

Rigatti has experience in patent and trademark litigation, and specialises in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry.

He is joined by Pietro Giorgio Castronovo, a senior associate who focuses on the corporate aspects of intellectual property.

Filippo Attanasio, a trainee lawyer who joined Rigatti's team in July this year, completes the team.

John Stewart, managing partner of Fieldfisher in Italy, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Diego and his team. His intellectual property expertise bolsters our current offering and allows us to provide our clients with a dedicated IP service."

Rigatti added: "Fieldfisher is renowned for its intellectual property team. Together, my team and I are delighted to be joining a market leader in our field and at such an exciting time. I look forward to working with the team across our network of offices to grow and develop our IP offering in Italy."
