Kilpatrick Townsend adds Life sciences specialist to team

Law firm Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP has bolstered its Californian team with the appointment of a new pharmaceutical IP specialist.

William Leschensky (pictured) will join the firm's Silicon Valley office as counsel in its corporate team.

Before joining Kilpatrick Townsend, Leschensky served as senior counsel at biopharmaceutical company Amgen, where he was responsible for patent prosecution and licensing support.

Leschensky was also previously vice president for IP at KAI Pharmaceuticals, where he managed its IP portfolio as well as negotiating and drafting licensing agreements.
