Latham & Watkins adds life sciences attorney

Law firm Latham & Watkins has added to its Washington, DC office with the appointment of patent litigator Casey Dwyer as partner.

Dwyer (pictured left) joins the firm from law firm Finnegan Henderson Farabow Garrett and Dunner.

Dwyer’s practice focuses on the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. She litigates patents in the branded pharma and medical device sectors and advises clients on intellectual property licensing and publishing.

Her hire comes soon after the addition of Michael Morin and David Frazier to Latham & Watkins’s IP practice. Both are also based in the Washington, DC office.
