Pierce Atwood announces new patent partner in Portsmouth

Pierce Atwood has appointed MaryDilys Anderson as a patent partner in the firm’s Portsmouth, New Hampshire office.

Anderson joins the firm from Finch & Maloney, and focuses her practice on patent prosecution and client counselling in the biotechnology and life sciences areas.

She has experience in protecting compositions and methods for use in therapeutics and diagnostics for cancers.

Her  clients include inventors, entrepreneurs, small companies, universities, and multinational corporations.

Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Anderson worked as a freelance scientific editor and writer for companies such as Motorola, Amersham and numerous book publishers.
