The new partner, Kevin Nelson, is joining the Chicago office, where he will be part of the firm’s pharmaceuticals and biologics patent team.

Nelson has more than 15 years of experience representing generic companies in patent litigation brought under the Hatch-Waxman Act.

Sailesh Patel, co-leader of the firm’s IP group, said: “In the past 12 months alone, we have been at eight pharma trials and evidentiary hearings, so Kevin’s arrival is well-timed.”
