Seyfarth Shaw hires partner in Washington, DC

Law firm Seyfarth Shaw has hired Jamaica Szeliga as a partner in the firm’s litigation department in Washington, DC.

Szeliga joins from IP boutique law firm Leydig, Voit & Mayer, where she worked as a member.

Her practice focuses on patent litigation, prosecution and drafting opinions.

Szeliga’s clients include companies in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Robert Bodansky, managing partner of the firm’s Washington, DC office, said: “Jamaica’s addition strengthens our local intellectual property presence and she will be a key asset to our national team.
