White and Williams adds IP counsel

US law firm White and Williams has hired George Xixis as a counsel to its Boston office.

Xixis (pictured left) joins the firm’s business department but will focus on intellectual property. He has experience in patent litigation, patent prosecution and due diligence.

He focuses his practice on the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical and chemical devices sectors.

Maulin Vidwans, chair of the business department, said: “George’s background and experience on corporate and securities, as well as pharmaceutical and intellectual property matters, will further strengthen our existing capabilities.”
