WilmerHale has added life sciences lawyer and IP litigation specialist Anthony Trenton to its practice in London.
Trenton is believed to be the US firm’s 14th partner in its London office. He joins the firm from Dentons.
Trenton (pictured left) will work alongside Trevor Cook, who left Bird & Bird after 39 years last October, and will oversee the development of the IP litigation practice.
During his career, Trenton has represented pharmaceutical company Kirin-Amgen in a biotechnology patent infringement case in the House of Lords, and handled trademark infringement proceedings relating to the Botox trademark.
He also works on cases related to trademarks and domain names, copyright, designs, and design right and breach of confidence.
WilmerHale has more than 1,000 lawyers working from 15 offices in the US, Europe and Asia.
