Edwards Wildman promotes IP litigator

IP litigator Thomas Wintner has been appointed partner at Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP.

The former associate, based in Boston, has considerable trial and appellate experience in both federal and state courts, according to the firm.

Much of Wintner’s work focuses on two areas. He assists with patent litigation in the life sciences industry, specialising in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, the Hatch-Waxman Act and the Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act. He also represents colleges and universities in IP matters, including litigation, regulatory compliance and internal investigations.

Wintner is one of seven new partners at Edwards Wildman, joining Robert DiUbaldo, Craig Gilley, Matthew Hillery, Andrew Hughes, Michael McCormack and Jason Zanetti. Jennifer Dereka has been appointed counsel.
