Appleyard Lees appoints partner in Cambridge, UK
UK-based law firm Appleyard Lees has appointed Barbara Fleck as a partner in its Cambridge office.
Fleck has 15 years of experience working in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical fields.
She has worked with companies in the antibody therapeutics, RNAi technology, molecular diagnostics, gene therapy and medical devices fields.
Before joining Appleyard Lees, Fleck was head of IP at Cambridge-based medical laboratory Crescendo Biologics.
Julia Gwilt, head partner of the Cambridge office at Appleyard Lees, said: “Having previously worked with Barbara, I am really excited about her appointment as it will allow us to grow both our specialist life sciences team and our Cambridge office further and faster.”
