Global IP Exchange Europe: IP leaders’ investment priorities revealed

In such a fast-moving and exciting area for many brands, the survey uncovered the specific challenges participants are facing in bringing their IP strategies to life.

The results revealed the most prominent challenges facing the industry, including: competitive research and analysis, landscaping search, freedom-to-operate/novelty/patentability search, licensing, valuation services, plus many more investment areas of significant importance to industry leaders as we progress into a new era within the space.

Participants attending this year’s exchange include: AB InBev, eBay, the European Commission, IBM, Siemens and many more global brands with a vested interest in continuing to develop their IP, patent, and trademark and brand protection solutions.

The Global IP Exchange will bring together 90 IP and brand protection leaders within Europe from some of the world’s leading organisations. These leaders are set to engage in thought-provoking discussions across three days at the Hotel Palace Berlin to discuss what is possible in IP, patent, trademark and brand protection for 2020 and beyond. Sessions include:

  • Building a smart IP system: connecting intelligent technologies with IP education to develop an advanced protection strategy and drive value creation;
  • SEPs—where are we now? A helpful guideline to developing quality licensing practices for your business: insights from the automotive industry;
  • Collaborating to win the war against counterfeits across borders.
