Andrews Kurth hires IP litigator

Law firm Andrews Kurth has hired litigation attorney Matthew Dowd as a partner in its Washington, DC office.

Dowd, who joins from US law firm Wiley Rein, focuses his practice on commercial and intellectual property litigation as well as patent infringement.

His clients include pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Jeff Dodd, head of the intellectual property and technology practice at Andrews Kurth, said: “Matt provides exceptional expertise in appeals before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the US Supreme Court … which will significantly enhance the representation we offer to clients.”
