Barnes & Thornburg hires partners in Minnesota

Law firm Barnes & Thornburg has hired Scott Rothenberger and Jeffrey Stone as partners in the firm’s intellectual property department in Minneapolis.

Before joining the firm, Rothenberger (pictured below, left) worked at law firm Norton Rose Fulbright. He has experience in patent prosecution and has represented clients in the biotechnology industry.

Stone’s (pictured below, right) experience includes advising on licensing and patentability options. He previously worked at law firm Winthrop & Weinstine.

Connie Lahn, managing partner of the firm’s Minneapolis office, said: “Companies are seeking legal advice that is both sound and practical, but also grounded in trusted technical and industrial knowledge. Scott and Jeff possess these qualities, and we expect they’ll be invaluable resources not only to clients, but to their peers here at the firm.”
