Crescendo Biologics hires head of IP

UK-based drug discovery company Crescendo Biologics has hired Barbara Fleck as head of intellectual property.

Fleck joins from law firm Marks & Clerk where she worked as a partner.

She has experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications and has represented clients in the bio therapeutics industry.

Peter Pack, chief executive of the company, said: “Barbara’s appointment means that Crescendo now has a dedicated IP expert.

“As part of the management team, Barbara will provide invaluable senior level counsel to the company on its IP strategy,” he added.
