Dechert hires new life sciences partner

Law firm Dechert LLP has bolstered its life sciences team with the hire of Scott Warren as a partner in its IP practice in New York.

Warren, who advises clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical and medical device industries, has a background in litigation and patent prosecution.

He was previously a partner at Goodwin Procter LLP.

Welcoming the appointment, Ann Caviani Pease, co-chair of Dechert's IP practice, said Warren’s insights in generics and his overall background in the life sciences area will be of particular benefit to the firm’s clients.

Warren is a member of the New York State Bar and is also registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office.
