Epstein Becker Green adds FDA specialist to team

Neil Di Spirito has left Ballard Spahr to join Epstein Becker Green as a member of the firm’s healthcare and life sciences practice.

Di Spirito has more than two decades of experience advising pharmaceutical, biologic, and medical device clients on regulatory and enforcement matters. He has litigated against the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), negotiated with its office, and assisted clients with FDA compliance.

In addition, Di Spirito has expertise in assisting clients with licensing agreements, labelling issues, and advertising. He also has expertise in preparing New Drug Applications and obtaining pre-market approval.

Di Spirito previously worked as an executive for major pharmaceutical manufacturers.

He is based between Epstein Becker Green’s Washington, DC and St Petersburg, Florida offices.

George Breen, chair of the firm’s healthcare and life sciences practice steering committee, said Di Spirito’s industry knowledge and leadership renders him a “great fit” for Epstein Becker Green.
