Firm unveils UK partner and senior associate promotions

The patent attorneys will be based in London and Birmingham.

Forresters has promoted four patent attorneys, including two new partners and two new senior associates.

Charlotte Sunderland and Jagvir Purewal have been promoted to partner, bringing the total number of partners at Forresters to 23.

Kate Selwyn and Ryan Mitchell have been promoted to senior associate.

Sunderland, Purewal and Mitchell are based in Forresters office in London and Selwyn will practise in the firm's Birmingham office.

Purewal is part of the technology and engineering team, and joined Forresters in 2012. The others are members of the life sciences team, and joined Forresters as trainees.

Matt Shaw, managing partner at Forresters, said: “I’d like to offer my wholehearted congratulations to Charlotte, Jagvir, Kate and Ryan on their promotions, which are richly deserved.

Forresters offices in the UK are based in Birmingham, Liverpool, London. The law firm also has an office in Munich, Germany.
