Five patent attorneys join Parker Poe life sciences team

Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein has announced the addition of five patent attorneys to its life sciences team.

Kyle Musgrove, Scott Cunning, Elizabeth Crompton, John Bateman, and Paul Dietze bring “decades of experience resolving patent disputes, including in federal district courts, the Federal Circuit, the US Patent and Trademark Office, and the International Trade Commission (ITC),” said the US law firm in a statement.

“Parker Poe has been serving life sciences clients for more than 35 years, and the deep experience of these new lawyers makes them a perfect fit with our firm,” said Tom Griffin, managing partner, Parker Poe.

The group, which joins from Haynes and Boone, has particular depth in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and chemical arts, said the firm.

The five will continue to serve clients around the world from offices in Washington, DC, and Charlotte, NC.

“Our team wanted to join an established life sciences platform that would deliver even more value to our clients across the full scope of their legal needs,” said Musgrove. “Parker Poe gives us, and our clients, exactly that.”
