Former Biogen vice president joins Choate

Robert Licht, former senior vice president of pharmaceutical company Biogen, has joined law firm Choate Hall & Stewart as a partner in the firm’s life sciences group.

Licht (pictured left) joins the firm’s Boston office, where he will advise clients in the life sciences sector on structuring and negotiating transactions including joint ventures, collaborations and intellectual property licences.

Bill Gelnaw, co-managing partner at Choate, said: “We are very excited that Bob has joined our pre-eminent life sciences practice.

“He is an important lateral hire who brings a wealth of high-level experience in the life sciences industry to our nationally recognised team.”
