McDonald Hopkins has added Erin Conway as counsel to its IP litigation department in Chicago.
Conway’s specialities include Hatch-Waxman/Paragraph IV patent infringement actions. She has worked on cases involving drugs such as Coreg (carvedilol), Actos (pioglitazone) and Treanda (bendamustine).
She has represented clients based in a wide range of US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-regulated industries, including food and beverages, nutritional supplements, cosmetics, drugs and medical devices.
Conway’s practice covers IP protection, monetisation, licensing and enforcement, as well as dispute resolution strategies.
Conway joins from Amin Talati Wasserman, where she had served as partner since 2016.
She was also a partner at McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff from 2013 to 2016.
Her other areas of expertise include unfair competition and false advertising claims under the Lanham Act. Conway has represented clients at both federal courts and the US International Trade Commission (ITC).
