Murgitroyd promotes life sciences specialist

Patent and trademark attorney firm Murgitroyd has boosted its intellectual property team by promoting Michael Marchant (pictured below, left) to director.

Marchant, based in the firm’s London office, specialises in patents. He has 12 years of experience and works in the firm’s life sciences and chemistry group.

Speaking about his appointment, Marchant said: "I'm excited to be appointed as a director and look forward in my new role to continuing to be part of the development and future of Murgitroyd."

Keith Jones (pictured below, right), a patent specialist in the electronics and software group and based in the York office, has also been promoted to director.
