Paul Hastings boosts New York practice

Former Holland & Knight trial lawyer Merri Moken has joined Paul Hastings’ team in New York as of counsel.

Moken, who spent nearly four years as partner at Holland & Knight, focuses her practice on patent infringement matters as well as trade secret misappropriation and contract-related matters.

She represents clients in the biotech, regenerative medicine, chemical and pharmaceutical fields, as well as the mechanical and electrical arts.

Bruce Wexler, global co-chair of the IP practice at Paul Hastings, said: “Merri is an excellent litigator with expertise in patent litigation, trademark, trade secret misappropriation, patent counselling and contract matters, and she will be a terrific addition to our IP practice, helping her clients develop, enforce and defend their patent portfolios.

Moken has practised before federal district and appellate courts and the International Trade Commission.
