Pinsent Masons hires Fieldfisher’s co-head of life sciences

Nicole Jadeja, the former co-head of life sciences at Fieldfisher, has joined Pinsent Masons as a partner in its London office.

As a life sciences lawyer and patent litigation specialist, Jadeja has represented companies in multi-jurisdictional patent disputes and biotech companies developing cutting edge technologies.

Clare Tunstall, head of life sciences at Pinsent Mason, said: "Nicole's appointment is testament to our continued investment in appointing talented individuals who enhance our capabilities in servicing our international client base. Nicole's depth of experience and knowledge of the life sciences sector will both complement and enhance our offering.”

Jadeja currently serves as vice-chair of the BioIndustry Association’s IP committee and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorney's life sciences committee. She has recently advised both organisations on their successful intervention in high-profile life sciences cases before the UK Supreme Court.

The appointment follows Pinsent Mason’s recent recruitment of Michael Finn in the firm's Dublin office.

Additionally, legal director and IP specialist, Jules Fabre, has relocated to the firm's office in Paris. He will work with clients in the life sciences and pharmaceutical sector on complex French and cross border patent and supplementary protection certificate litigations.
