Procopio adds former Amgen attorney

Business law firm Procopio has added Robert Ramos as a partner in its life sciences practice group in San Diego.

Ramos has more than 20 years’ experience in life sciences IP, including patent and trademark acquisition and strategic counselling.

He has assisted start-ups, mid-sized companies, research institutes and biopharmaceutical companies in areas including molecular biology, modern genomics for personalised medicine, antibodies and cancer therapies.

Before joining the firm, Ramos was an IP attorney at Amgen for more than ten years.
