SGR boosts team with partner hire

Law firm Smith, Gambrell & Russellhas hired Charles Vorndran as a partner in its intellectual property practice in Atlanta.

Vorndran focuses his practice on domestic and international patent preparation and prosecution in biotechnology fields.

He previously served as a partner at Pabst Patent Group.

Greg Kirsch, department head of the firm’s IP practice, said in a statement: “Charlie is a welcome addition to SGR’s large and growing IP practice.”

He added: “His scientific depth and legal experience in life science patent law, working with both companies and universities, will help us further expand our existing life science patent practice.”
