Teva announces global re-brand

Pharmaceutical company Teva is set to re-brand itself as part of its plan to build “a new breed of healthcare company”.

In an announcement on Wednesday, February 24, Teva said it wanted to build a global brand in a bid to differentiate itself based on the unique characteristics of its business model.

The re-brand, which will take place over the next 12 months, will embody “a new promise, vision and identity” and will “bring to life the purpose and values the company has instilled in its employees,” Teva said.

“Teva, the world’s leading producer of medicines, is building on its strong global footprint, size and scale, to reinforce its focus on making these medicines more accessible,” the company added.

The company plans to reveal the new brand to its 43,000 employees before launching it externally.

Erez Vigodman, chief executive of Teva, said: “This project is one part of a comprehensive plan that reflects the company’s reinvention to be a strong brand with a unique portfolio of products and support services.”
