Daniel Holmander

Daniel Holmander is a shareholder and co-chair of the Intellectual Property Group at Adler Pollock & Sheehan, where he leads the firm’s patent practice and advises clients across a wide range of industries including medical devices, biotechnology, software/AI, advanced materials, and cleantech.

With over 20 years of experience, he focuses on helping companies, universities, and inventors secure, commercialise, and use their IP through patent prosecution, licensing, freedom-to-operate analysis, and IP transactions.

He works closely with startups, research institutions, and established companies to build IP portfolios aligned with funding, product development, and commercialisation goals.
