Foley Hoag completes IP team hire

Foley Hoag has completed the hiring of a new team led by partner Amy Baker Mandragouras, in Boston.
The majority of the team joins Foley Hoag from Cooley, complementing the August 2023 arrival of Mandragouras.
The firm has welcomed Erika Wallace and Maya Elbert as counsel, both of whom bring nearly two decades of experience in strategic counselling and management of worldwide biotechnology patent portfolios, as well as distinct scientific expertise in the life sciences arena.

Joining Wallace and Elbert are associate Ariana Harris, patent agent Samantha Devenport, and technology specialist Lillian Schmaltz.
The team brings scientific expertise in the field that is “second-to-none” Mandragouras continued.
Additionally, the team is accompanied by several patent administrative professionals.
