Baker Donelson hires counsel in Memphis

US law firm Baker Donelson has expanded its Memphis office by hiring Cong Ding as of counsel in the firm’s intellectual property group.

Ding joins from US law firm Harris Shelton Hanover Walsh.

She focuses her practice on patent prosecution and has represented clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Edward Ramage, chair of the firm's IP group, said: “Connie's extensive background in biology and pharmaceutical sciences gives her a unique industry perspective that will enhance the offerings of our team.”
