Fried Frank hires life sciences specialist in New York

Law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson has added a life sciences specialist to its intellectual property litigation practice.

Patent lawyer Jeffrey Lewis will join the firm’s New York office. He was previously a partner at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler, a law firm based in New York City.

Lewis (pictured left) represents plaintiffs and defendants in the technology industry but focuses primarily on pharmaceuticals, chemicals and biotechnology. He has also represented innovators in Abbreviated New Drug Application litigation.

David Greenwald, chair of Fried Frank, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jeff, who is an accomplished and respected figure in the IP and litigation communities.”
