Holland & Hart hires partner from Stoel Rives

Holland & Hart has added Loren Hulse as a partner to the firm’s Salt Lake City office.

Hulse joins the firm from Stoel Rives, where he served as co-leader of the life sciences industry group. He previously acted as in-house counsel for biopharmaceutical company NPS Pharmaceuticals.

Hulse’s expertise spans the life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotech, manufacturing, and medical devices industries. His experience includes creating, managing, and protecting domestic and foreign patent and trademark portfolios.

Of Hulse’s appointment, Dan Glivar, leader of Holland & Hart’s IP practice group, said: “His experience in the life sciences industries and strength in chemical patents aligns with our firm’s goals to continue expanding service offerings in these rapidly-evolving areas.”
