Schiff Hardin welcomes counsel to Chicago team

Law firm Schiff Hardin has added Cindy Ahn as counsel in its intellectual property practice group.

Ahn (pictured left), who will join the firm’s Chicago office, has experience in private practice and in-house roles.

She joins Schiff Hardin from Global IP Law Group, where she worked as partner.

Ahn also worked as legal consultant for medical device company AccessClosure and as general counsel for biotechnology company Third Wave Technologies.

She has experience litigating patent cases.

Steve Hankins, head of Schiff Hardin’s IP practice group, said: “Her experience will significantly expand our ability to serve our medical device and life sciences clients.”
