Sven Lingjaerde is the managing partner and co-founder of Endeavour Vision, a venture capital firm which established the largest MedTech fund in Europe of €250 million ($263 million).

According to Lingjaerde, “The combination of recent major advances in both healthcare and digital technology information” will cause medicine to experience “unprecedented changes that will revolutionise the current healthcare paradigm”.

Lingjaerde has been recognised for his contribution in shaping the European technology ecosystem through a number of awards. He was listed among the ten leading venture capitalists in Europe by Convergence Magazine in 1999
and mentioned among the top ‘Time Digital Europe 25’ by Time Magazine Europe in 2001 and 2002.

In 1996 he co-founded Vision Capital, where he serves as general partner and head of the European office. He participated in the merger of the European team of Vision Capital with Endeavour to create a pan-European venture capital group.

Before co-founding Endeavour Vision, Lingjaerde served as the managing director at Genevest Consulting Group. Under his leadership, Genevest managed to develop a record of making early-to-late-stage investments in high-tech and biotech ventures.

Lingjaerde is the chairman of YPO Alpine Chapter, a global platform for chief executives. Here he provides guidance and support at a strategic level. He also serves as a director at Atempo, a data management software company.

He is an active speaker at industry events and forums and is regularly invited to speak about venture capital by European associations, universities, and economic forums.
